Just a friendly alert here. ^^
A kind anonymous by the name of Anonymous Spore (Yes, I'm aware of the oxymoron) decided that Akatsuki was too slow, and translated the sixth volume of Black Lagoon. Yes, the entire volume.

Haven't downloaded all of them myself yet (and there isn't a single pack of the volume yet), but something to note is that in the anime placed some of the arcs a bit differently compared to the manga. But the important aspect of that right now is that the Greenback Jane arc took place after the Fujiyama Gangsta Paradise arc. Just a reminder.

OR, My inability to write up good summaries annoys me.
Mirai Nikki and Mx0 are two manga that I've been keeping an eye on for the past few months. Apples and oranges in types of comparison, but they're both interesting series in their own right. Mirai Nikki is more horror/action driven (with a female lead that is probably one of my favorites in a good long while), while Mx0 is a more typical shounen with a twist (the protagonist is actually SMART. He has little to no actual power, but he is able to get by through sheer cunning). Additionally, I'm a fan of both of their art styles. ^^;;

Since I'm a Type-Moon whore, I thought I should advertise something regarding the fandom. (Although I'm not sure why since even the few people that might see this entry probably aren't interested in the fandom. ^^;;) Type-Moon Lemon ContestYeah, we've been getting a lot of those lately, haven't we? There's something like 50 packs, each with around 90 megs of doujinshi. <_<;; It makes me wish they didn't bother with rapidshare and used a torrent, 'cause that's going to take a loo~oong time to download (or it would if I didn't already have more than half of them).
Kinda reminds me of what I went through when AZ posted all that stuff. =P |

Just to prove Nugar wrong! (and Jocko, actually... his order was wrong) And because I've got nothing better to do.
1. Elaborate on your default icon. Yumi from Maria-sama ga Miteru, an anime that has shoujo-ai (girl love) undertones. The icon itself is from an artist who I like, though I've no idea to what their name is (I have a large folder full of his or her icons). I figured the collar fit well with my user name.
2.What's your current relationship status? Uhm... Single?
3.Ever have a near-death experience? Not really. I almost drowned once, although I'm fairly sure I would have been easily resuscitated.
4. Name an obvious quality you have. Uh, I'm easily distracted?
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now? "Longing Heart" from the Fate/stay night OST (game, not anime). Mostly because it's playing on my headphones currently.
6.Name a celebrity you would marry. I wouldn't, no really. I'm a private person and if I married a celebrity I'd be subject to those stupid magazines. Uh... If I had to? Mamiko Noto (Hey! She's... popular in a certain community ^^;;) although the language barrier would be a problem.
7. Who will cut and paste this first? Nadda. I don't think I have anyone who would do it to prove me wrong. :)
8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity? Nope. Although I have a friend that looks like Tom Cruise.
9. Do you wear a watch? Sometimes. Although honestly it's a bother. I mostly just keep the watch in my pocket and pull it out whenever I wanna know the time.
10.Do you have anything pierced? No.
11. Do you have any tattoos? Nope.
12. Do you like pain? Maybe, I've never tried in sexual play. Normal every day pain isn't fun, but...
13.Do you like to shop? Nope. I might browse to see if anything catches my eye, but I'd prefer it to know what I want right away.
14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash? Ah... An external harddrive, bought it yesterday.
15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card? Uh... food.

17. What is on your desktop background? Shiki Tohno from Tsukihime (an Ero-game, although the image is from the manga adaptation of it). He's holding his bloody hand with a smirk on his hand, he's just about to calmly slaughter everything around him.
18. What is the background on your cell phone? I don't have a cellphone.
19.What was the last movie you watched? Ah, that's a tough one, I don't regularly watch many movies. Lady in the Lake, I think?
20.What was the last book you read? Hmm, if it counts, I read book four of the Suzumiya Haruhi novels recently. |

Okay, checked the most recent torrents. Saw this.
WHAT-desu? Since when was there an OVA for Genshiken? I would have figured to see news of THAT being posted somewhere many months before it even came close to being released. Goes to show that I can still be surprised by these things.
Whatever.
Also, in unrelated news, I'm not one for figures normally (with a few expections being that one Bunny girl Haruhi [and now Spacegirl Nagato] figure I saw from that apparently famous artist BUBBA), but damn if this one isn't fine.
